PCD Flooring Blade

TUSK PCD FLOORING BLADE - Laminates are the attractive and durable choice for flooring, but this material presents a major challenge for carbide-tipped saw blades especially on a mitre saw. To combat the highly abrasive properties of laminate flooring (that immediately dulls the cutting edge of standard blades), each tooth is tipped with Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) and spark eroded to create a Triple Chip Tooth Geometry (TCG) resulting in a dramatically improved cutting edge. Our PCD blades feature a thin Kerf design that requires less cutting power, making them ideal even for underpowered saws at the worksite. Our blade test results showed a massive 75% + longer blade life, not only on laminate, but also on bamboo and composite flooring when compared to other carbide blades. TUSK's Laser Cut Core feature ensures the blade is perfectly balanced - reducing heat, wobble, vibration and reducing cutting noise. TUSK PCD blades also feature a Non-Stick Coating which reduces gumming, friction and the destructive effects of heat build-up. Anti-Kickback design feature re-enforces the tooth and prevents over feeding of material during cuts. This massive list of design features combine to give the end user a blade that produces faster, effortless cuts with a long tool life on your next flooring project, saving you time and cost!

NB: Designed for LAMINATE & COMPOSITE FLOORING - NOT SUITABLE FOR FLOORING WITH A TIMBER WEAR LAYER.
